Industrial output decreased in July 2025 both from the previous month and from one year back
Seasonally adjusted industrial output (TOL BCD) decreased by 1.8 per cent in July from the month before. According to Statistics Finland, industrial output adjusted for working days went down by 4.2 per cent compared to July 2024.

Industrial output grew in several main industries in July from the previous month
Adjusted for working days, output in manufacturing (C) was 4.3 per cent lower in July 2025 than one year earlier. Seasonally adjusted output in manufacturing (C) decreased by 2.1 per cent from the previous month.
Among the main industries examined in the chart, industrial output grew most in July in mining and quarrying, by 7.7 per cent from the month before. Output was 2.9 per cent higher in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and 1.1 per cent higher in the forest industry than in June.
Output decreased in other main industries from the month before. Output fell most in July in the electrical and electronics industry, by 5.0 per cent. Output decreased by 2.6 per cent in the chemical industry, by 2.3 per cent in the food industry and by 1.7 per cent in the metal industry compared to June.
