Registered new enterprises numbered 13,346 in October to December 2024
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, 13,346 new enterprises were registered during the fourth quarter of 2024. Compared to the corresponding period of the year before, the number of registrations went up by two per cent. Of the registered enterprises 5,311 were limited companies and 7,938 were natural persons.

- During the fourth quarter of 2024, four per cent more limited companies were registered than in the corresponding period of the year before.
- In the fourth quarter of 2024, the number of registrations grew slightly compared to the previous five years, which was caused by an increase in the number of enterprises practising entrepreneurial activity under their own name or a registered business name (natural person). The number of registrations of other legal forms decreased.
