Enterprise openings and closures 2024, 4th quarter

Number of enterprise openings 4.3 per cent fewer in the last quarter of 2024 than one year before

According to Statistics Finland, there were 9,016 enterprise openings in October to December 2024. During the quarter, the number of enterprise openings decreased by 4.3 per cent from the previous year. Altogether 4,150 limited companies closed down during the quarter.
