Employment rate of students decreased slightly in 2023

According to Statistics Finland, the employment rate of students decreased 0.7 percentage points in 2023 compared to the previous year. There were 625,000 students aged 18 to 64 of whom 347,000, over half, were employed during their studies. Working while studying was more common among women than men.
