Turnover in construction fell by 2.3 per cent in November 2024 from one year ago
According to Statistics Finland, the working day adjusted turnover of construction enterprises decreased by 2.3 per cent in November 2024 compared to the previous year. The volume of sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, went up by 1.7 per cent.

Turnover and sales volume in construction industries developed in two directions
Working day adjusted turnover in building construction fell by 3.3 per cent and sales volume rose by 0.6 per cent in November 2024 compared to one year before. In turn, working day adjusted turnover in civil engineering fell by 6.9 per cent and sales volume by 5.3 per cent from the previous year. Turnover in specialised construction activities went up by 0.2 per cent and sales volume by 4.2 per cent from one year earlier.
Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction decreased compared to October
Seasonally adjusted turnover in construction decreased by 0.9 per cent in November 2024 compared to October. Correspondingly, seasonally adjusted sales volume went down by 0.9 per cent from October.
