Ninety-two per cent of completers of comprehensive school continued in upper secondary education in 2024

According to Statistics Finland, there were 61,700 completers of the 9th grade of comprehensive school in 2024. Forty per cent of them continued in vocational education and 53 per cent in general upper secondary education. Seven per cent continued in preparatory education. One per cent of completers of comprehensive school did not continue in the above-mentioned education.
