According to Statistics Finland, the number of immigrants to Finland was 63,965 in 2024. Immigration remained high, although the number went down by around 9,500 from 2023. In
2023, a majority of Ukrainian refugees were registered in the population after having obtained a municipality of domicile. Emigration from Finland rose slightly from the previous years, being 16,914 in 2024.
