Large differences in European consumer prices in 2025

In 2025, Finland's total price level was the eight highest in Europe, 21 per cent above the EU average. Iceland and Switzerland had the most expensive consumer prices in Europe, North Macedonia the least expensive. The data are based on a price comparison of 36 countries coordinated by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the EU. The price data concerning Finland were compiled by Statistics Finland.
