Building costs rose by 0.9 per cent in 2025

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 0.9 per cent in 2025 compared to the previous year. Among materials, the biggest cost increases in the year were recorded in timber structures, 7.6 per cent. Costs decreased most in the year in steel structures, 3.2 per cent.
