Producer prices for manufactured products rose by 2.6 per cent in March 2026 year-on-year

The producer prices of manufactured products sold on the domestic market rose by 2.3 per cent, while the producer prices of export products went up by 2.9 per cent.

The basic price index for domestic supply rose by 1.1 per cent from a year ago while the basic price index for domestic supply including taxes remained unchanged on average.
From February to March, producer prices for manufactured products went down by 1.4 per cent. The decrease in producer prices was particularly caused by the lower prices of electricity and pharmaceutical preparations compared with the previous month. The fall in prices was curbed especially by the increase in prices of refined petroleum products and basic metals compared with the previous month.
