Number of petitions for restructuring of debts increased by 18.0 per cent in January to June 2026 from the previous year
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, 3,218 debt restructuring petitions of private persons were filed with district courts in January to June 2026. The number of petitions filed was 490 (18.0 %) higher than in the respective period one year previously.
