Appropriations for government R&D funding for 2025 grew compared to 2024
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, the total appropriations for research and development activities amounted to EUR 2,883.4 million in the state budget for 2025. Compared to preliminary data for 2025, the increase in R&D appropriations was EUR 25.4 million. The share of government R&D funding of gross domestic product was estimated to be around 1.02 per cent in 2025.
