Industrial output grew in November 2025 both month-on-month and year-on-year

Industrial output decreased in several main industries in November from the previous month

Adjusted for working days, output in manufacturing (C) grew by 2.0 per cent in November 2025 from one year earlier. Seasonally adjusted output in manufacturing (C) grew by 0.2 per cent from the previous month.

In November, industrial output grew most in the food industry, by 4.6 per cent from the previous month. Output in the forest industry was 1.7 per cent higher and in the chemical industry 0.3 per cent higher than in October.

Output decreased in the other main industries examined in the figure. Output fell by 3.6 per cent in mining and quarrying, by 3.5 per cent in the electrical and electronics industry and by 2.6 per cent in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply from the month before. Output also decreased in the metal industry, which fell by 0.8 per cent compared to October.
