Producer prices of agricultural products rose in the last quarter of 2025 by 2.7 per cent from a year ago
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland, the annual change in the index of producer prices of agricultural products was 2.7 per cent in the last quarter of 2025. The producer prices of meat and animal products rose by 8.0 per cent, while plant products went down by 6.9 per cent compared to the previous year's corresponding period.

- Producer prices of agricultural products rose in the last quarter of 2025 by an average of 2.7 per cent from a year ago.
- The increase in the agricultural producer prices was particularly caused by the fact that producers were paid 33.9 per cent more for beef and 7.6 per cent more for milk in the last quarter of 2025 compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
- The increase in the agricultural producer prices was curbed especially by the fact that producer prices of cereals decreased on average by 11.1 per cent in the last quarter of 2025 from the previous year.
- Producers were paid 3.1 per cent less for pork and 4.1 per cent less for poultry meat in the last quarter of 2025 from the previous year.
