Number of nights spent at accommodation establishments grew by 3 per cent in January 2026 from the previous year

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, 1.64 million overnight stays were recorded at accommodation establishments in January 2026. The number of nights spent by resident tourists was 0.94 million and that of nights spent by non-resident tourists 0.70 million. The total number of overnight stays increased by three per cent from the year before.
