Cost of an hour worked EUR 38.7 for an employer in 2024

According to Statistics Finland, labour costs were, on average, EUR 38.7 per hour worked in 2024. The hourly costs were EUR 39.0 in the private sector, EUR 36.6 in the local government sector, and EUR 44.3 in the central government sector. Wage and salary costs formed, on average, 78.5 per cent, social security costs 18.8 per cent and other costs 2.7 per cent of total labour costs.
