Record number of deaths from drugs in 2025
reviewAccording to Statistics Finland, there were a total of 333 drug-related deaths in Finland in 2025. The number grew by 86 deaths from the previous year and was the highest ever recorded in the statistics. The number of drug-related deaths increased for both sexes and in all age groups. Women's share of all drug-related deaths went up.
