New database table on prices of electricity for the statistics on energy prices
Date of change:A new database table on prices of electricity is published in the statistics on energy prices (13rb -- Price of electricity by type of consumer). In the new table, the grouping of user groups is based on the classification of the price collection of the European Union. Prices have been formed utilising the energy sales prices collected from sellers of energy and transfer prices received from the Energy Authority. In addition to the total price of electricity, the price components: electrical energy, electricity network service fee and taxes are published.
The taxes included in consumer prices are value added tax and excise taxes (electricity tax). Taxes for enterprises and corporate customers include only excise taxes.
