Date of change:In connection with the statistical release in January 2026, the latest industries defined by the Business Register will be adopted in the statistics. The industry corrections are visible as revised data in some of the published industries for 2024 to 2025.
The effects of the changes are taken into consideration in statistics production so that no breaks occur in the time series of the published index series. The interpretation of the statistics also remains unchanged in the renewal.
At the same time, a new database table is published, 14ln Revisions in turnover of trade annually (2021=100), presenting the revision of the data for 2024. The table contains the revision of the percentage changes in the original, working day adjusted and seasonally adjusted index at an annual level.
