Job Vacancy Survey

The Job Vacancy Survey asks about open job vacancies, searching for and hiring of employees, and experienced recruitment difficulties at establishments. Around 5,500 different establishments take part in the data collection in each quarter. 

Data are collected for the statistics on job vacancies. Data for the employment authorities’ survey concerning labour services are also collected in this connection. The survey is primarily responded to on a web form.

Data on the number of open job vacancies on the establishment level, recruitment difficulties and characteristics related to the filling of the latest position can be obtained only by means of this quarterly survey. Based on the data obtained on the recruitment at establishments, it is possible to form a comprehensive picture of the present situation on the labour market in the whole country and in all industries.

On average, it takes 10-15 minutes to respond.

This is how to respond

Respond online

Your establishment has received the user ID and password for the survey by letter. If your
establishment has received an invitation to respond by email from us, the message contains the user ID and password. Take the identifiers and press the Start responding button above. 

Further instructions can be found on the web form. It is also possible to respond on a mobile device.

The establishment will also be contacted by telephone at a later time if no web response is received.
