The data obtained in the data collection are used for compiling statistics on job vacancies. As regards the survey section of the employment authorities, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and the Development and Administrative Services Centre (KEHA) use
the data to monitor the availability of labour and the level of labour shortage.
The results describe the demand for labour and changes in it examined from the viewpoint of employers. The key data users are Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, KEHA, other political decision-makers, and the media.
Statistics Finland publishes survey results quarterly on the home page of the job vacancy survey of the job vacancy survey. Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union, also publishes the results of the statistics on job vacancies in Finland and other EU countries on its website.
Based on the survey, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment annually publishes Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment analyses on the supply of labour and the
creation of new jobs.
The data of the survey section on recruitment and labour services of the employment authorities are released to the Finnish Social Science Data Archive at the University of Tampere for research use.
