Government research and development funding in the state budget
The data are collected for the calculation of R&D funding included in the state budget. The data are used by Finnish political decision-makers and by the OECD and Eurostat. The data to
be collected comprise budget and other funding granted to research and development according to the social policy objective.
The data are collected by mail inquiry from public administration units (around 70). Some of the data are obtained direct from the state budget proposal.
The data are collected once a year.
