Altogether 27 per cent of enterprises have a customer relationship management system

In spring 2008, 27 per cent of enterprises used a software program for customer relationship management (CRM). Examined by enterprise size category, the prevalence of CRM software varies from 20 per cent among the smallest enterprises to 56 per cent among the largest ones. Looked at by industry, CRM software is used clearly most frequently in wholesale trade (52%), followed by post and telecommunications (37%) and business services. These data were collected with an inquiry in spring 2008 and they apply to enterprises with at least five employees.
