Sales of retail trade grew by 5.3 per cent in November

According to Statistics Finland, retail trade sales rose by 5.3 per cent in November from November 2010. Sales volume also grew by 1.9 per cent during the same time period. Wholesale trade sales went up by 5.7 per cent and motor vehicle sales by 22.9 per cent. In total trade sales increased by 7.6 per cent in November.

Sales in retail trade rose by 5.5 per cent and in wholesale trade by 8.8 per cent in January to November compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. Motor vehicle sales rose by 17.4 per cent. In total trade sales were up in January to November by 8.9 per cent on the respective period of the year before.
