Transport in domestic waterborne traffic increased in November
The goods volume in domestic waterborne traffic totalled 0,4 million tonnes in November 2021. Transport in domestic waterborne traffic increased by 6 per cent compared to November 2020. In November 2021 domestic water transport took place in coastal waterways.
Domestic waterborne traffic by month (tonnes) in 2019 to 2021
Oil products were transported most, in total 236,211 tonnes, which was 54 per cent of all transport. The second most transported was crude minerals and cement, 51,386 tonnes.
Vessel traffic and goods volume in the Saimaa Canal
A total of 9,050 tons of transport were registered through the canal in domestic traffic.
