Description

The statistics contain monthly and annual information on slaughter volumes (number of carcasses and weight in kilos) and average carcass weights. The statistics also include information about frozen stocks of beef and pork. The statistics are based on data collected monthly from slaughterhouses and on information animal registers. The annual statistics contain information on beef, pork and mutton production by municipality, ELY Centre and support area. The statistics are based on information contained in the animal register and on data collected monthly from slaughterhouses. In addition, annual statistics contain information on organic meat production and farm slaughter.
