Building costs rose by 2.3 per cent in November
Building costs were 2.3 per cent higher in November 2010 than in November 2009. Labour costs in construction rose by 0.5 per cent and prices of materials by 3.8 per cent in the year. Those of other inputs rose by 1.1 per cent. This is indicated by the Building Cost Index of Statistics Finland.

From October to November, the total index was nearly the same than in October. The prices for labour were also nearly the same. The prices of materials fell by 0.2 per cent. By contrast the prices for those of other inputs rose by 0.6 per cent.
