Building costs rose by 7.5 per cent in February year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 7.5 per cent in February 2022 from one year back. The costs of materials went up by 12.1 per cent and labour costs by 3.3 per cent year-on-year. In February, the prices of services remained on level with the previous year.

Description: The building cost index describes relative changes in the building costs of building works and buildings of essentially identical structures by monitoring developments in the prices of the basic inputs used in their building.
