Building costs rose by 3.0 per cent in November
Building costs were 3.0 per cent higher in November 2011 than in November 2010. Labour costs in construction rose by 1.9 per cent and prices of materials by 2.9 per cent in the year. Those of other inputs rose by 6.6 per cent. This is indicated by the Building Cost Index of Statistics Finland.
Building cost index 2005=100
From October to November the total index rose by 0.4 per cent. The prices for labour were unchanged. The prices of materials rose by 0.4 per cent and the prices of other inputs rose by 1.1 per cent.
