Building costs rose by 0.4 per cent in October in year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.4 per cent higher in October 2015 than in October of the previous year.  In October, the prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 0.8 per cent, the prices of materials remained at previous year's level, and those of other inputs increased by 1.6 per cent from one year ago.

In October, the total index of building costs remained on the same as in September. The prices of labour inputs rose by 0.5 per cent, the prices of materials went down by 0.3 per cent and those of other inputs grew by 0.2 per cent from the month before.
