Building costs rose by 0.7 per cent in June year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 0.7 per cent in June 2016 compared with the previous year's June. Prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.3 per cent, prices of material inputs by 0.3 per cent, and those of services by 0.2 per cent from one year back.

Long term development of the Building Cost Index

From May to June, the total index of building costs increased by 0.1 per cent. The prices of labour inputs fell by 0.1 per cent. The prices of material inputs went up by 0.4 per cent and those of services remained unchanged from the month before.
