Building costs rose by 1.7 per cent in February year-on-year
According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 1.7 per cent in February 2018 from one year back. The prices of materials went up by 2.5 per cent, those of services by 2.1 per cent and those of labour inputs by 0.6 per cent compared with February 2017.
Long term development of the Building Cost Index
From January to February, the total index of building costs rose by 0.2 per cent. The prices of materials rose by 0.4 per cent in a month. The prices of labour inputs and services remained on level with January.
