Building costs rose by 1.2 per cent in May year-on-year
According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 1.2 per cent in May 2019 compared with the previous year's May. The prices of materials rose by 1.4 per cent. The prices of labour inputs and services rose by 0.9 per cent compared to May 2018.
Long term development of the Building Cost Index
From April to May, the total index of building costs remained on level with the previous month. The prices of materials rose slightly by 0.1 per cent. The prices of labour inputs and services remained on level with April.
