Building costs rose by 0.6 per cent in January year-on-year
According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 0.6 per cent in January 2020 from one year back. Labour costs went up by 1.8 per cent and the prices of services by 1.4 per cent compared with January 2019. The prices of materials fell by 0.4 per cent from one year ago.
Long term development of the Building Cost Index
In January, the total index of building costs rose by 0.2 per cent from the previous month. The prices of services went up by 0.7 per cent in a month and those of materials by 0.2 per cent. The labour costs remained on level with December.
