Building costs rose by 0.3 per cent in April year-on-year
According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 0.3 per cent in April 2020 year-on-year. Labour costs went up by 1.4 per cent and the prices of services by 0.5 per cent compared with April of the previous year. The prices of materials fell by 0.6 per cent from one year ago.
Long term development of the Building Cost Index
From March to April, the total index of building costs fell by 0.2 per cent. Labour costs went down by 0.3 per cent and the prices of services by 0.8 per cent. The prices of materials remained unchanged in April compared to the previous month.
