Turnover of construction enterprises grew by 1.6 per cent year-on-year in May to July
The turnover of construction enterprises increased by 1.6 per cent in May to July 2014 from the year before. The turnover of construction of buildings grew by 1.7 per cent, turnover of specialised construction activities by 1.6 per cent, and turnover of civil engineering by 1.2 per cent. One year previously, turnover in the whole industry went down by 0.4 per cent in the corresponding period.
Three months' year-on-year change in turnover of construction (TOL 2008)
The sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 1.1 per cent in May to July from one year before. The sales volume of building construction increased by 1.3 per cent and that of specialised construction activities by 1.2 per cent. The sales volume of civil engineering remained on level with the previous year.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
