Turnover of construction enterprises increased year-on-year by nearly 2 per cent in September to November
The turnover of construction enterprises increased by 1.8 per cent in September to November 2014 and the sales volume of construction enterprises grew by 1.1 per cent from the year before. In September to November 2013, turnover remained on level with the previous year.
Three months' year-on-year change in turnover of construction (TOL 2008)
Turnover grew in all construction industries. Specialised construction activities grew most, by 2.6 per cent. Building construction increased by 1.5 per cent and civil engineering by 0.6 per cent.
The sales volume of construction enterprises grew most in specialised construction activities, by 1.7 per cent. The sales volume of building construction went up by 0.6 per cent and that of civil engineering by 0.2 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
