In October, output declined most year-on-year, by good 12 per cent, in energy supply. Behind the decline is strong growth in the imports of energy. Manufacture of electrical and electronic products diminished by just short of 4 per cent in October. Output in the chemical industry went up by barely one per cent. In other metal industry, output continued to rise in October, largely thanks to strong growth in the manufacture of transport equipment. Manufacture of machinery and equipment also grew in October.
