Structural changes to National Accounts’ StatFin tables

Changes are made to the structure of Statistics Finland's StatFin tables. The aim is more coherent contents and classifications. The changes are implemented gradually to the StatFin tables of different statistics, mainly during the first half of 2019.

We have created test tables for National Accounts and general government finances for the transition period, providing an opportunity for users utilizing automated data downloading to adjust their selections before the tables are transferred to production and published in the StatFin database. So you should note that in connection with the transfer to production the directory structure of the tables will change, for example as follows: http://pxdata.stat.fi/PXWeb/pxweb/en/KTMT/KTMT__jul__jyev/ -> http://pxdata.stat.fi/PXWeb/pxweb/en/StatFin/StatFin__jul__jyev/

The purpose of the test tables is to inform of the new structures and the harmonised classifications. Therefore, they should not be used to examine actual figures. Figures are not updated on the test page, they are uploaded to Statistics Finland’s current StatFin statistical database at the release times.

Tables generated with the new national accounts model are gradually uploaded to the test page and the StatFin statistical database. The tables below contain information on the names of the old and new tables. In some cases, one new table replaces several old tables. The change is considerable in the annual tables of National Accounts that will amount to ten tables instead of the current twenty.
