Publication of annual national accounts will be restructured: tables of quarterly and annual national accounts in one set of statistics in future
NewsThe publications of national accounts are collected under one set of statistics in the spring when the statistics on quarterly and annual national accounts are combined together. This will make it easier to find and understand data, although the contents remain unchanged.
In May, national accounts will be restructured when the publications of the statistics on annual national accounts, quarterly national accounts and quarterly sector accounts are discontinued as separate statistics and they are combined into one set of statistics. The name of the statistics will be national accounts.
For data users, the change will be visible for the first time on 29 May, when data for the first quarter of 2026 are published. The data can then be found under the statistics on national accounts.
In May, combining of statistics also causes changes to the addresses and names of database tables, but the content and structure of the tables remain unchanged.
At the beginning of June, Statistics Finland's all database tables will be restructured and the present PxWeb API searches must be updated to correspond to the new file structure.
