Errors detected in the source data of the statistics on prices of dwellings in housing companies
NewsErrors were detected in the source data of the statistics on prices of dwellings in housing companies, for which reason the releases and database tables of the statistics are corrected for the current year. The errors concern the numbers of transactions of old dwellings in housing companies made through real estate agents. The effect of the errors as concerns new dwellings in housing companies is being examined.
One to 15 per cent of transactions of old dwellings in housing companies made through real estate agents were missing on the monthly level. The error concerns the data for 2026. The error has no effect on the data describing the price development of old dwellings in housing companies.
The corrections will be made as soon as possible during week 46 (9 to 13 November).
