Turnover in trade grew in November 2022

According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the working day adjusted turnover in total trade grew by 7.4 per cent in November 2022 compared with November 2021. The volume of total trade sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, decreased by 3.7 per cent over the same period.

Working day adjusted turnover of retail trade grew in November by 5.9 per cent

The working day adjusted turnover of retail trade increased by 5.9 per cent in November from November 2021. The volume of retail trade sales decreased by 3.1 per cent over the same period. In daily consumer goods trade, the working day adjusted turnover increased by 8.3 per cent in November. The sales volume, however, decreased by 3.9 per cent from the corresponding period of the previous year.

Seasonally adjusted turnover increased compared to previous month

Seasonally adjusted turnover in total trade increased by 0.6 per cent in November compared to October. Seasonally adjusted sales volume increased by 0.5 per cent over the same period. In October, seasonally adjusted turnover decreased by 0.3 per cent and sales volume by 1.4 per cent compared to the month before.
