Statistics Finland will renew the retail trade flash estimate in connection with the release on 29 April. The data content of the retail trade flash estimate is extended with data on the turnover and sales volume of total trade (TOL G).
Read more about the changeAccording to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the working day adjusted turnover in total trade grew by 9.2 per cent in March 2022 compared with March 2021. The volume of total trade sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, decreased by 5.4 per cent over the same period.
