Prices of agricultural production inputs continued rising in the last quarter of 2022

According to Statistics Finland, the purchase prices of the means of agricultural production rose by 23 per cent in the last quarter of 2022. Agricultural production commodities and services cost 28 per cent more and investments 10 per cent more than one year ago. The 46 per cent rise in the prices of energy and fertilisers and the 35 per cent increase in the prices of fodder had the biggest impact.
