Building cost index 2025, November

Building costs increased by 2.0 per cent in November 2025 year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs increased by 2.0 per cent in November 2025 compared to the previous year's corresponding period. Among materials, the biggest cost increases in the year were recorded in timber structures (10.0%) and in soil (6.4%). Costs decreased most in the year in construction site surface structures (-4.4%) and in heat, water and sewer supplies (-2.1%).
