Prices of old dwellings in housing companies increased by 0.4 per cent year-on-year in January 2025
According to Statistics Finland’s preliminary data, the prices of old dwellings in housing companies increased by 0.4 per cent year-on-year in the whole country in January 2025. Compared with the previous month, prices decreased by 0.9 per cent. Among large towns, prices rose year-on-year in Oulu (2.2%) and in Espoo (1.4%). Prices declined most in Tampere (-2.1%) and in Helsinki (-1.1%).

- Prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 0.5 per cent in the six largest towns in January 2025 compared with one year ago. Outside large towns, prices increased by 2.1 per cent.
- In Greater Helsinki, prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 0.5 per cent from one year ago and by 0.6 per cent in compared with the previous month.
- In the whole country, prices of dwellings in blocks of flats decreased by 0.7 per cent compared with one year ago. Prices of dwellings in terraced houses went up by 3.3 per cent.
- In January, 29 per cent more sales of old dwellings in blocks of flats and terraced houses were made through real estate agents than one year earlier.
