Prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 2.4 per cent year-on-year in September 2025
releaseAccording to Statistics Finland’s preliminary data, the prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 2.4 per cent year-on-year in the whole country in September 2025. Compared with the previous month, prices decreased by 0.6 per cent. Among large towns, prices rose year-on-year in Tampere (2.4%) and in Turku (2.2%). Prices declined most in Vantaa (-6.8%) and in Oulu (-5.2%).

- Prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 1.9 per cent in the six largest towns and by 3.2 per cent in outside large towns in September 2025 compared with one year ago.
- In Greater Helsinki, prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 2.7 per cent from one year ago and by 1.1 per cent compared with the previous month.
- In the whole country, prices of dwellings in blocks of flats decreased by 3.1 per cent and prices of dwellings in terraced houses by 0.6 per cent compared with one year ago.
- In September, 16 per cent more sales of old dwellings in blocks of flats and terraced houses were made through real estate agents than one year earlier.
