The release of Population structure 2024 (4.4.2025) was corrected as follows:

According to Statistics Finland, there were 610,156 persons in the Finnish population speaking a foreign language as their native language at the end of 2024. The number of foreign-language speakers increased by 51,862 persons during 2024. The number of persons speaking Finnish, Swedish or Sami as their native language went down by 19,725 persons. At the end of 2024, the share of foreign-language speakers in the population was 10.8 per cent.
