Building costs grew by 1.2 per cent year-on-year in July

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 1.2 per cent higher in July 2014 than in July 2013. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 0.5 per cent, the prices of materials by 1.6 per cent and those of other inputs by 1.3 per cent from one year ago.

From June to July, the total index of building costs rose by 0.1 per cent. The prices of labour inputs remained unchanged. The prices of materials and other inputs went up by 0.2 per cent.
