Building costs grew by 1.2 per cent year-on-year in December
According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 1.2 per cent higher in December 2014 than in December of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction increased by 0.6 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 1.7 per cent and the prices of other inputs by 0.7 per cent from one year ago.
Building cost index 2010=100
From November to December, the total index of building costs declined slightly. The prices of labour inputs remained unchanged from the previous month. The prices of materials went down by 0.1 per cent, and those of other inputs went up by 0.1 per cent month-on-month.
