Building costs grew by nearly one per cent year-on-year in April
According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.9 per cent higher in April 2015 than in April of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction increased by 1.5 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 0.5 per cent and the prices of other inputs by 1.2 per cent from one year ago.
Building cost index 2010=100
From March to April, the total index of building costs declined slightly. The prices of labour inputs went down by 0.1 per cent and the prices of materials by 0.3 per cent. The prices of other inputs rose by 1.3 per cent from the previous month.
